The SF Public Utilities Commission invites San Francisco residents on a free tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. You’ll learn about the history of wastewater treatment in San Francisco, tips on preventing pollution of the Bay and Ocean, and best of all, you’ll go behind the scenes to see how this vital piece of infrastructure works. Attendees are encouraged to take photos during the tour. Come on out Saturday and take part in getting your questions answered such as: what happens to the water from your shower, laundry and toilet after it goes down the drain? What about stormwater and runoff from lawns and gardens? And even find out whether it’s okay (or not) to flush goldfish down the toilet! Keep in mind tours take place on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month and visitors must be at least nine years old to take the tour. Parking is available once you have entered the plant. Hard hats are provided and must be worn at all times. Sturdy shoes and long pants are required for your safety and comfort. Enjoy!
San Francisco, Perma-liner Industries has some exciting information that must be shared now as time is of the essence! It’s the Section 179 Deduction. This allows businesses to deduct the full purchase price of qualifying equipment and/or software purchased or financed during the tax year. That means that if you buy (or lease) a piece of qualifying equipment, you can deduct the FULL PURCHASE PRICE from your gross income. It’s an incentive created by the U.S. government to encourage businesses to buy equipment and invest in themselves. Still reading this??
